“Blak Gingham” represents a modern version of the gingham prints with elements of Aboriginal storytelling.
The painting involves striking colours with dotted lines crossing each other to show connections between things. In the whole piece, there are many U shapes that represent people within the community, and there are suns that pay homage to mothers and life bearers.
The pants are very comfortable to wear on a daily basis.
