Kids Aboriginal Flag Cotton Tee

Created for the next generation, the Kids Aboriginal Flag Tee celebrates one of the most recognised symbols of Aboriginal identity, strength and connection to Country.

Designed by Harold Thomas, a Luritja artist and activist, the Aboriginal Flag was first flown on 9 July 1971 during a land rights rally. The black represents the Aboriginal people of this land, the yellow circle represents the sun—the giver of life—and the red symbolises the earth, red ochre used in ceremony, and the spiritual connection to Country.
