Welcome Mat – Darramuragal | Aboriginal Art Doormat

This Welcome to Country mat, named “Darramuragal,” is a product designed to educate people about acknowledging the country and recognizing Traditional Aboriginal place names.

Conceived by Aboriginal artist Tarisse King, this mat will be used to raise awareness of the Original names of the lands that people are living on and spark meaningful discussions about culture, community, and connection to country.

The mat is produced from natural fibers of coconuts (coir) and embossed in Naarm (Melbourne). It features a raised texture that is highly durable and long-lasting.
