This Welcome to Country mat bearing the name of the Traditional name “Dhanggati” has been designed as an informative item that promotes recognition of Country and respect for Traditional Aboriginal names.

Designed by the Aboriginal artist Tarisse King, the mat promotes awareness of the Original names of places where people reside and promotes cultural discussions regarding Country, community, and culture.

Made from natural coconut fibre (coir), the mat is sustainably made, tough, and long-lasting thanks to the professional embossing done in Naarm (Melbourne).
