Welcome Mat – Yinggarda | Aboriginal Art Doormat

The Welcome to Country mat with the Traditional place name "Yinggarda" was designed as an educational item that promotes acknowledgment of Country and awareness of Traditional Aboriginal place names.

Created by the Aboriginal artist Tarisse King, the mat will help raise awareness about the Original names of the lands people inhabit while promoting conversation and discussions about culture, community, and Country.

Produced from sustainable natural coconut fibers (coir) and embossed professionally in Naarm (Melbourne), the mat's design has a raised texture that is durable and lasts for years.
